Common questions
I already have medical insurance. Do I still need PA?
They do different jobs. Medical cover pays hospital bills. Personal accident pays you a lump sum for death or disability, plus a daily income while you are warded, and it pays on top of any other policy. Many clients hold both.
I have SOCSO through my employer. Is that enough?
SOCSO protects you mainly in connection with work. A personal accident plan covers you 24 hours a day, including at home, on holiday and outside working hours, and the benefit is paid to you or your family directly.
Does my occupation affect the price?
Yes. Insurers group jobs into classes. Office-based roles are the lowest risk and cheapest. Manual, industrial and high-risk occupations cost more and some plans are limited. Tell us your job and we will tell you honestly what you qualify for.
Can I cover my spouse and children?
Yes. Family plans are available, and children can usually be covered from a young age at a reduced benefit level. Send us the ages and we will structure it.
