Common questions
When should we sign up?
The window is 13β35 weeks of gestation, and earlier is better, cover for pregnancy complications only helps once it's in force. If you're planning ahead, talk to us before the window opens.
Why does it cover things like autism and speech delay?
Because early intervention is expensive and rarely covered elsewhere, this benefit was the first of its kind in Malaysia. It funds support at the age where support matters most.
My spouse and I both work, is this instead of a medical card?
No, it complements one. This protects pregnancy, birth and early childhood specifically; a medical card carries your child beyond age 5. We'll structure the handover so there's no gap.
Protection by PIDM on benefits payable from the unit portion of this policy/product is subject to limitations. Please refer to PIDM's TIPS brochure, or contact AIA Bhd. or PIDM for details.
